Trent is AMAZING!! He told me over the weekend (and confirmed today) that he did not want to “go to sleep” for his radiation treatment. The Doctor and Radiation team said that it would be OK to try and I let him. TRENT DID IT!!! I was so worried that he would move around too much or become so scared lying in the room by himself, but he was a trooper – so courageous – and he got through it. I was able to talk to him the whole time over an intercom to help keep him calm. He says he will do it again tomorrow!! He has made Mommy very proud and so happy today. He is helping to keep me strong and I just love him so much!!!
He has not been sick at all per se – just tired…we tried to ride bikes around the block today, but did not make it because he got tired and wanted to go back to the house. We are watching him closely to see if he his losing any abilities due to the treatments. I have noticed some things since the treatments began that are small (but I do not know if they were there all along, because I am watching him very closely): he walked differently a few times (with a little limp), but this went away, and sometimes it looks as if his right eye is starting to come more to the right (but this comes and goes too). We will let you know if anything else comes up…
