Trent came home today - his blood tests are finally negative. We had to have an EKG done today because his heart beats were irregular last night (dropped down to 50 at times - should be in high 60s or more). The EKG was normal and this drop may be attributed to sleep apnea.
Trent will continue with his daily radiation/chemo treatments and will also recieve a daily dose of antibiotics for the remainder of the week. He is doing much better now - yesterday was better than today because he did not get much sleep last night due to the lower pulse rate (the alarm on the monitor in the room sounded everytime his pulse rate went below 60). I just sat and watched the monitor for at least 2 hours or more. Trenton and Mommy will be going to bed early tonight!!!
After he started to recover from Friday’s events - Trenton started becoming his self as each day progressed. He played cards (War) with Grandma and Grandpa Richards and actually beat thm both over and over again!! And Trent even picked up a new saying from Grandpa too “You’re number one - next ta me”. Trent has been saying this over and over again - he is so funny!!
Trent is so happy to be going home tonight!! He cannot wait to play with Jarett - even though I think he has called him everyday since we have been here. Their conversations revolve around wierd noises and sayings they have made up - their own language!!
