I know it has been a few days – Trent has been doing well. His appetite is still very low – but a plus – he is still taking his glyconutrients and drinking lots of liquids.
We have had a good 4 days: Swimming alittle on Wednesday, Chuck-E-Cheese on Thursday, a visit with Grandpa Kouris on Friday, and maybe the Lake County Fair tonight. Trenton also played with his cousins Jarett and Nicholas on Friday. He seems to maintain his energy even though he is not eating very much. When Trent gets tired, he will sit or lay on the couch. I like to rub his legs and feet during this time – it comforts both of us.
Ariana is busy with her gymnastics and cheerleading practices. She is doing so great in both of these!! School with be starting on August 18th and our little 3rd grader is very excited to learn who her teacher will be. Trenton will be going to Gingerbread Pre-school beginning in September. I have already told them about his condition and they will still welcome him with open arms!! Ms. Elly (his teacher) said she will work with his schedule. She told us not to worry if he is feeling sick sometimes and cannot make it in.
I have gone on a medical leave from work. Clint and I agree we need to spend more time as a family-enjoying every day together. Clint will continue to work. He has been very strong through all of this and we are blessed to have him as a husband and daddy!!!
We would like to say THANK YOU to Suncrest Christian Church for all of their love and support!!! Pastor Greg Lee, Scott Thomas, Miss Sue, Mary Beth, and others have been so helpful-listening, praying with us, and further encouraging us to have hope and belief in GOD’s purpose for us and Trenton.
Also, we want to tell all of our family and friends THANK YOU for your uplifting messages of support and love. Mom, Dad and Denise: you have helped me so much in the past few weeks – thank you for being there to talk to and cry with…I could not be as strong without you!!
August 11th – Trent’s MRI scheduled for 2pm
August 13th – Trent’s 5th Birthday Party starting at noon (Invitations have been sent – but if we missed anyone who would like to attend, please call us!!)

SHARING HOPE AND COURAGE,
