Fever Finally Broke

September 29th, 2005

We took Trent up to the U of C yesterday and they did labwork on his blood - white count was low and ANC was low, but the bacteria cultures are negative so far…this is good news!! Trent’s fever did break this morning and he is currently taking a nap. We do not know what caused the fever yet…could be his portal or even a reaction to the Temodar. We will have to see if this happens again next month after round three. Thank you for all of your prayers and messages!!!

We are also awaiting to hear from the Make a Wish Foundation - although Trent is still trying to decide on where he would like to go…Walt Disney World or Wisconsin Dells…or anywhere with Jarett!!!

Fever update…

September 28th, 2005

Well Trent has had a fever since Sunday, and it was real high again last night. We took him to UofC today, and got a blood work up. We are waiting for the results of the blood culture, and depending on whether or not he is running a fever tomorrow will determine if we have to go back up tomorrow to the hospital. If the blood cultures are positive for bacteria, Trent gets to spend another couple of nights at the hospital. Lets pray the results are negative and the Temodar was the cause of his fever. Other than that he has been in good spirits, just tires easily now that he has just completed his monthly dose of chemo.

Ariana has been working hard at school, gymnastics and cheerleading. We are so proud of her because she

has received almost straight A’s for her first quarter of school. She got a B+ in science. She is doing great otherwise and she says hi to everyone!
That’s it for now,
