Happy Halloween!!
[thumb:321:l] Trenton and Ariana went with Grandpa and Grandma Anderson to Plymoth, IN over the week-end. They spent 2 nights in the camper and went trick-or-treating at the campground. They carved pumpkins and rode their bikes - they had a really great time! Clint and I decided to go to dinner and see a movie…WOW, it was great to finally be able to finish a conversation - we did miss the kids - but it was great to spend time together!
On Halloween morning, Ariana went to school with her mask that we created the night before…all the kids had the same shape mask, but they were able to decorate them the way they wanted. Trenton had his Halloween party at Gingerbread school, and all of the parents were invited into the class to hear some great Halloween songs the kids had been learning. It was so good to see Trenton having fun - he loves going to school!! He even writes Mrs. Kuchar letters at home to bring to her at school - he says he loves her!!!
We went trick-or-treating at Grandpa and Grandpa Richards house that evening. Trenton and I went to Grandpa and Mimi’s house to start decorating. Trent went with Grandpa to take his picture with Mimi at Walgreens and then went to pick up Nicholas and Jarett from school. I had the porch decorated by the time everyone arrived to get ready to hit the houses…and just as the clock struck 5pm..it began to rain!! We made the best of the situation though…Ariana and I dressed up like witches, Trenton was the red Powerranger, Jarett was a yellow Ninja, Robbie was Darth Vadar and Nicholas was The Thing from Fantastic Four. We walked about 3 blocks and the kids were tired and wet (it was hard to keep them dry even with umbrella’s). Grandpa Richards was dressed as…as…well a combination of witch (apron he wore) mixed with scary marshmellow man (face mask he wore). He had a funny walk when he passed out the candy - and warned the kids to watch out for his pet spider on the bushes!!! Everyone had a great time together in spite of the rain!!
Trenton’s MRI was today…and he did much better today than the last time. He was able to stay distracted and play with Jarett and Nicholas while we waited for him to go back for the pictures. The process went very smoothly, and we finally got home around 7pm. Although we were able to get a CD of the pictures - we are going to wait for an offical interpretation. We will let everyone know when that word comes to us… hopefully on Friday.
Love to all - Thank you for sharing our hope,
Donna
