Holiday Cheer!!

[thumb:330:l]Trenton has been doing quite well this last week. As usual, his appetite varies weekly and sometimes daily (due to the chemo)…currently he loves waffles with LOTS of butter (in fact, I have caught him with butter on his fingers-just eating away). I think Uncle Bob got Trenton started on the waffles – he always tells us “I want waffles like Uncle Bob’s!”. I think this is great!! He gobbles them up every morning!! They have to be JUST RIGHT though…the butter goes on after they are cooked and he MUST see the butter or he will not eat them. I make sure he SEES me put on the butter (ha-ha). Aside from falling a few times (which could be due to general clumsiness or the balance issues), Trenton has been good. He does not complain of headaches, nausea, or any kind of pain. We are feeling so relieved – great news for the holidays!!! Ariana is still doing great in school. Ariana and Trenton are so looking forward to this holiday season – we are going to go Wisconsin Dells just before Christmas – instead of gifts from Santa Claus, we are going to focus more on spending family time together and remembering what Christmas is really about – the birth of Jesus Christ – what a wonderful holiday!!!

Our great friend, Jeannie, has invited Trenton and his family to see “The Storm” soccor team play on January 8th. She is trying to schedule a neat thing at half-time: Trenton will try to kick a soccor ball past the goalie. Jeannie has been so supportive of Trenton and our family – THANK YOU JEANNIE!!

Others that have been supportive and much help to us are: our families, Suncrest Christian Church, Liz Lukowski (Nick’s Stores), our Ford Family (Chicago Stamping Plant), and others that have left us anonymous gifts….and still others who have called us or have left messages on Trenton’s site…………THANK YOU SO MUCH – MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES!!!
