Our weekend trip to the water park was relaxing and very fun!! Trenton enjoyed sitting in the mini-pool – letting his legs and feet sway with the waters movement. We sat with him so he could sit up to watch the great big bucket of water splash down on all of the guests heads!! He then spent time in the hottub-which he liked so much!! Afterward, we went to the arcade, where he played games and earned alot of tickets for a prize or two (a stuffed frog, lizard, and puppy). He kissed each one as they were handed to him….he is so loving. We all went back to our gorgeous rooms (we had a suite and an attached room) to get cleaned up…Trenton wanted some ice cream and we headed down to the lobby to find some – he & Ariana chose cotton candy. After a quick nap, Trenton woke up to eat dinner, watch a movie, and then it was time to go down to get more ice cream (of course!! ha-ha)…ride the glass elevators over-looking the pool area, and take a nice stroll around the hotel (it is huge!!).
Upon our arrival in our suite, Trenton and Ariana were surprised with their own baskets filled with lots of goodies. Trenton’s had a green bathing suite and t-shirt, a power ranger four wheeler set, as spiderman action figure set, a power ranger fleece blanket, power ranger shorts, and many delicious snacks for him to munch on!! Ariana’s basket had a beautiful scrap book, a jewelry box (for her to paint and decorate), and many other cute things!! Mommy and Daddy even received a couple of waterpark bags complete with waterproof cameras, Caribbean Cove mascot dolls, and tokens for Ariana and Trenton!!
We want to give a very special THANK YOU to The Mayden and Siegel Families from Gingerbread School for putting together this wonderful trip for our family!! Also, there were other Gingerbread families that donated for us to take this trip and we wanted to say THANK YOU to you!! This trip meant so much to us…Trenton was able to enjoy it!! We will be putting up pictures with this update soon…we have to wait for some to be developed.
Trenton has been tired and has had some mood swings lately. He will be laughing one minute and then will not talk the next. He had a headache this morning and took alittle nap…then woke up feeling down, so I tried to lift his spirits by playing a game (which helped alot). Mel and Holli came over to stretch and exercise him…he was irritable at first and then decided to go along with it. He has been taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection for about a week now…we are hoping the headaches are being caused by this infection. We have asked for hospice to come in…Jennifer and Anna…they have been stopping by since last week. Trenton’s next MRI is on March 23rd and we will know more about our next step with its results.
