Trenton Michael Anderson “Trenie” of Crown Point — The family of Trenton Michael Anderson lost their precious angel when he earned his angel wings after a courageous battle against brain cancer on April 3, 2006 at the age of 5. Part of life does not explain the depths of this year’s pain. Every day consumed by grief and sorrow, yet somehow your strength helps us see tomorrow. Your soft cheeks, your smiling face, how our Lord has kept us in his grace. Memories that we hold so dear, knowing that your presence is always near. Our hearts will never mend, fly away my little Spidyman. We love you and miss you so much, forever and ever. Trent was born on August 18, 2000 and lived in Crown Point, IN with his family. He attended Gingerbread Preschool where he had so many friends. In his spare time, Trent was often found demonstrating his engineering skills on such projects as the family pool deck project by teaching the lost art of using ten-penny spikes, co-piloting the mower at grass cutting time and he even mastered the distinguished culinary art for bowl licking when making Dad’s Father’s Day cake. Trenton is survived by his loving parents: Clint and Donna; his sister, Ariana; maternal grandparents: Marlin and Barbara Richards of Hammond; paternal grandparents: Warren and Maureen Anderson of Cedar Lake; and Susan and John Kouris of Goodyear, AZ; Aunt Denise and Uncle Chad Murphy, with close cousins Jarett and Nicholas; Uncle James and close cousin, Aaron; Aunt Colleen and cousin Mikalia; great-grandparents; great aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and extended friends and family who will always cherish him in their hearts. Trent especially loved being with his cousins who will miss him dearly, and the countless fun times they had with him. He also will be remembered by many friends that have become like family during the past several months. Friends are invited to meet with the family Wednesday, April 5, 2006 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Suncrest Christian Church, 10009 Parrish, St. John, IN. A Memorial Service to honor Trent’s life will also be held at the Suncrest Christian Church on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Trenton Anderson Brain Tumor Fund which will be divided among brain tumor research foundations and other children’s charities. For additional information, friends may call the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN at (219) 923-7800.
