Welcome Delilah to your new home…

June 28th, 2006

Clint and I bought Ariana a puppy. Her name is Delilah - Lilah for short…she is a tiny pomeranian and is giving Sami a workout!! Ariana was so surprised - she has been asking for a puppy for awhile now…and we thought that this would be a good time. Ariana and I have been sick for the past few days…some kind of sinus infection/cold. Hopefully we will feel good for the week-end. I have been missing Trenton so much. The house is so quiet sometimes….I just wait to hear his voice calling me…but nothing happens. A close friend of mine, Beth, sent me a poem I would like to share:

I thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday
and the day before that too.

I think of you in silence
I often say your name
But all I have is memories
and your picture in a frame

Your memory is my keepsake
with which I’ll never part
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.

I shed tears for what might have been
A million times I’ve cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you
but you didnt go alone.
For part of me went with you,
the time God took you home.

Thank you to the cards and phone calls we continue to receive….

Trevor’s Surgery…

June 16th, 2006

We are so happy to let you know that Trevor (Trenton’s cousin) has had his surgery….and they were able to remove the entire mass without any complications!!! This is SO WONDERFUL and when we got the call, we prayed a THANK-YOU over and over!! Let us now ask for a swift and healthy recovery!!

We are still managing the loss of Trenton…some days (even hours) can be so hard. I removed him from my health insurance policy today…which brought on a whole bunch of tears. After gaining my composer - Ariana and I decided to water the flowers in the front of the house…which brought much calm. This is how it will be for a long time…just getting through each day. Thank you for thinking of us and checking the site for updates!!
