Thank you for checking in on us…we are coping…as you can imagine, some days are better than others. I have been remembering Trenton’s smile and laugh alot lately…he always had a way of making US laugh with his funny phrases or body movements!! He would come barrelling from the playroom into the kitchen and back out…then he would head for the couch, where he would perform some acrobatic movement that would make the couch move. I don’t know how many times we would tell him to stop…after we found out about the tumor, we just let him do it…it was great to see him with such energy!!! So silly the stuff we would get angry over before we found out…it really put everything into perspective. Of course, as parents we have to make sure that the kids are not breaking everything…but sometimes we have to relax and just enjoy EVERY moment with our kids.
Please say special prayers for Trevor (Trenton’s cousin) – as he is waiting on surgery to remove the mass…he has been having low blood counts and fever again. The UofC is waiting on the surgery until his counts come up and his fever goes away. It is so hard for their family to be away from home…waiting at the hospital.
