Clint and I bought Ariana a puppy. Her name is Delilah – Lilah for short…she is a tiny pomeranian and is giving Sami a workout!! Ariana was so surprised – she has been asking for a puppy for awhile now…and we thought that this would be a good time. Ariana and I have been sick for the past few days…some kind of sinus infection/cold. Hopefully we will feel good for the week-end. I have been missing Trenton so much. The house is so quiet sometimes….I just wait to hear his voice calling me…but nothing happens. A close friend of mine, Beth, sent me a poem I would like to share:
I thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday
and the day before that too.
I think of you in silence
I often say your name
But all I have is memories
and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake
with which I’ll never part
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.
I shed tears for what might have been
A million times I’ve cried

no one could ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you
but you didnt go alone.
For part of me went with you,
the time God took you home.

Little Lila is so cute and spunky-I too miss Trenton so much. I know he would love Little Lila, too. I can see him and Ana playing with her, and wanting to hold her at the same time. This makes me smile. Smiles are so hard to come by these days. Beth’s poem is beautiful! I’ve had a few people tell me how perfect it is. Guess this MiMi had better send this before the puter freezes;.( Hugs and Kisses my Loved ones and many prayers for us all.
